I can see it not being an issue with short races, but it is very hard for organizers to manage long races without an event log feature.
It is too bad as doing pit runs are actually very fun when racing online. Without that feature it is very difficult to organize and police races with mandatory pit stops and mix compound tires. It also makes keeping track of point standings much harder.
