Doesn't quite work does it?

Trying to put a white decal on the side of my McLaren 650S GT3. The white flows onto the main wing.

Would like to have kept the carbon fibre look, but tried to paint over the white leakage with black. Can't get the underside painted.

Is there something I'm not doing right?

In the options for the decal under "projection area" you can find angle and depth limit. Set depth limit to as far negative as it will go and that will fix it.

Another option is to paint the whole wing the same colour that you want for the end plates and then use the top angle and place a decal over the top surface and wrap it around.
