Reasonable ideas for GT4.

First of all, hello all. I am new here so make all the fun you want. I have seniorority in the supercars.net fourm so I don't care how much you annoy me :p . :domo: I like that smiley...anyway I want to see some RATIONAL ideas for GT4. Nothing like "Feul consumption" or "10-15 cars." Something that COULD happen. Like the ability to have expansion packs. For example: GT4 is made to allow the expansion of later GT expansions where on the expansion CD there are (example) 4 new tracks and 12 new cars. You then download them to the Memory Card (much like online but it comes on a CD for people with slow connections :turtle:)
Some of my ideas are:
Some LeMans cars
Custom paint
Race modification by adding a number and racing stickers (not many maybe 2 or 3 big ones thats it)
REAL car sounds (the Cobra R sounded like crap)
Zoom feature in garage
Take top down of convertibles in garage
 
i like ur idea 4 personalised colours :p . i think that we should be able to put personalised plates on the cars and the screen that tells u who is in the race instead of the car name it should be this car driven by this driver.
 
nice ideas. i'd also like to be able to put custom body kits on some of the cars like in tokyo extreme. and please don't flame this reply saying "well, why don't you just go back to playing tokyo extreme if you want body kits." the answer to that is that i have played it...MANY times, but i keep coming back to gt3 every time cuz of the depth, realism and great graphics. i think body kits in gt4 would be awesome.

i'd like cars with enterchanging engines like real life theres accords with si engines and things like that
 
You see, body kits is a good idea. But for 2 reasons it will never happen: 1. GT is not STREET tuning. It's race cars. 2. It would take too long to make impressive body kits for every car.
 
First of all, welcome young members!

On to the topic, I also like to see personalized sponsors to see my car has "sponsors" stickered all over my car.

These "sponsors" don't offer anything, its only brand names that you would like to put into your race modified vehicle (aka. [R]). Wouln't be cool that you have a "[R] '85 Mugen-MTV Honda CRX Si" in your garage. But this is not a permanent scheme, you will have the option to change this "sponsorships" into another.

If we can't have car damage, at least give us flat tyres...
 
True true they have went as far to give us tyre damage why not got the whole way

I've found myself tearing round the track 3 laps to go tyres are completely feked but i say to myself oh sod it i will just keep on going even though its like driving on ice

So i think blows outs would be a good addittion to the game aswell
 
Visably changing the exaust pipes on cars when you buy mufflers.
Reversing lights
different sized wheels(instear of the standard size ones)
Re-spray shop.
Engine damage
 
the ability to put bigger engines in...like swap a V6 for a V8 etc.
 
it should be visable when u make down force and ride height changes. can u imagine seeing a clio raised 10 cm of the floor after the sports kit has been added. :D

There are some good thoughts there but remeber car stickers mainly revolve around Manufacturers and there sponsers? (Eg :nissan: Calsonic Skyline)..
 
Engine swapping eh?

I'll put an NSX-R engine to my (EK) Civic DX on the back, That will make my Civic twin engined. heheh :D

that's an interesting idea indeed...yet it sounds sorta of outa bounds for GT.

number one, you should be able to add racing mods like you could on GT1...and I like the idea of being able to see the cars raise and lower. And I think the Add-Ons are a great idea...
 
Yeah just more personalised things would be nice.
I know its not street racing as such, but a few cosmetic things would be nice.... like the kits, wings, chromies etc.
