Reboot after online gaming: Is my PS3 dying or is a common issue...

I'm a little scared, my slim ps3 (purchased in january 2011) is rebooting sometimes when I try to come back to main menu after 2 or 3 hours of online playing...
It's an item to be worry? (It's still in warranty time).

My PS3 never rebooted itself...and I have it since 2008.
You shouldn't be worried - you still have warranty.

Mine's never has rebooted before, and this only happens after online...
I don't know if I must go to service or just try to reinstall GT5...


PD: Obviously I has backup of savegame and PS3 data.... just in case

I was going to say no but you say it reboots on its own? I freeze up every once in a while online when trying to leave a lobby, but I have to manually reboot my PS3. Other folks have had this same issue too.

But the fact that yours reboots itself seems a bit different, there could be something wrong.

If you decide to delete your game data and re-install it you should be warned that you'll lose your custom tracks. also your garage thumbnails will be gone, but that can be fixed.

Yes, that thing happens to me too; but sometimes (I don't know, 2 oe 3 times a week) reboot itselfs after a long "break" trying to return to menu.
