I'm looking for a 28" HD ready TV. I need it for the spare room because the
42" Plasma in the lounge is constantly being used by my girlfriend for watching crap soap operas.

I rarely get any time to play the Xbox 360 and it's starting to annoy me. To save an argument the study is now going to become my games room. A VGA input would also be a bonus. I have a budget around £500-£600.

Any recommendations appreciated.

I absolutely love my 27" Sony FD Trinitron Wega Hi-Scan KV-27HS420. It had the highest ratings of any 27" HDTV. Should have everything you need and you will be extremely happy with the quality. Its also right in your price budget. 👍

I have to say the reviews look really good. I'm just starting to think that 27" may be too big for my computer desk. I might have to go for a 21". I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for your recommendation though. 👍

I say dump your girlfriend and reclaim your 42" set.

Sony, Samsung and Mitsubishi make some great LCD sets.

Not as easy as it sounds and she owns half our apartment. Buying a new TV is going to be so much easier.
