Right, i built my system last year with the following specs:

Q6600 - quad core @ 1066mhz
4GB DDR2 OCZ Sli ready 1066 RAM
8800GTS 320mb
Corsair 620W Modular PSU

The problem lies with the motherboard i bought which is a
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R

It's never been able to run the RAM at it's book speed as it would always blue screen but lately it's started to not be able to cope with having all 4GB in there. It's not the ram as they work fine in seperate pairs and individually and all four ram slots seem to be working fine, again whilst in seperate pairs.
It's always memory errors it brings up when it does blue screen. I have tried following numerous guides and playing around with voltage etc.

Now i have got an RMA sorted through eBuyer (who were very helpful considering i bought this a year ago) and as they don't stock it any more said they will refund me the price i paid (£105) if their testing reveals a fault.

Which brings me too the question - what would be a good motherboard to suit these components for around that price point? I would be swayed towards an asrock board due to the problems i've had with this gigabyte one.

Any Recommendations?

If you're after something cheaper, I'm running near-identical specs on an Asus P5K, which I picked up for £36.

This thing's plenty for your setup - I'm using 800MHz DDR2 in mine, but it's overclocked directly with the FSB of the processor as high as you fancy taking it, and, as far as I know, the board natively supports 1066MHz DDR2 anyway. The software, as with most Asus products, is exceptional too.

Cheers for the help guys!, i went for the P5Q Pro as i only had to pay £3 after the money back on the Gigabyte board! Also ordered a 1GB 280GTX so it should all be here tomorrow so i can enjoy crisis properly, as my 320mb 8800gts didn't like it too much.
