I hate asking questions like this that I know have been asked a million times on the forum before, but I can't seem to find a related topic for GT5 :/
Being directed to a relevant thread would be great :D

Can anyone recommend me a good steering wheel controller for the game? I'm getting a new TV and entertainment setup and I figured now is as good a time as any to get one set up!

I've got no idea how much they cost, but I'm hoping they aren't out of the $50-100 range. $100 would pretty much be my top end limit.

I recommend the Logitech Driving Force GT for your budget.

edit, idk, I might be able to up the budget a little, but the cheapest I can find that for outside of ebay is about $120 :/
 
Trust me, it is worth it to wait a little longer and get a good wheel. My brother's GF gave him a Madcatz wheel and it was horrible.
 
Though it's on the pricey side, I'd really recommend to the Logitech G27. Having that H-pattern shifter makes it all worth it.

If this is out of your range, then maybe try looking for a used G25. Very similar to the G27.

Another good wheel sort of in-between the dfgt and g27 is the fanatec 911 carrera wheel. It has a six speed and a clutch and is only $170
 
I agree with the other posters (is that even kosher on this site :P ) save up for another month or two and get something you will be happy with.
I use a fanatec porsche turbo S wheel because I use it for PC and xbox. It all comes down to what you are going to use the wheel for now and in the future. If money is tight, be sure to realistically take your end goals into consideration as money wasted for a quick fix today will bite you in the a...later on.
