Yesterday, i was reading a thread about spooky things happening in Gta San Andreas, and decided to try these therorys out myself. So i was just about to set off to explore the woods, when i thought "hmm, why don't i video it, so i can post it on the site?" I knew my camcorder could record from a tv or vcr, and i looked at the manual to find out how. To record an auxillary picture such as a vcr or tv, i had to plug the i-link cable into the vcr or tv, and connect the other end of the cable to my camcorder. Problem is, that my tv doesn't have an i-link slot on it, and neither does my vcr. And my camcorder has no other way of recording pictures from a tv. So i was wondering, if there is any way i can turn an i-link connection into a scart or audio video connection. I could buy a tv capture card, but one that works with my laptop would cost around $60 or 40 quid, and i'm not willing to pay more than about twenty uk pounds. So i thought as my video camera transfers to pc, i would use that. Any suggestions on how i might do this? As at the moment, i am videoing a picture of the screen, and i get a constant black bar on screen in my recording. Anyone? Help? HELP ME!!!!
If anyone can help i will be very gratefull,
Thanks
Jon

By the way, my tv is a Lodos something or other, with 2 scart outputs and one audio/video lead output.
I have an original (non slim) ps2,
and my camcorder is a Sony Dcr-Hc19e,

Oh, and if it helps, my laptop has a firewire port built in.
