How you record your videos from your ps3? i like to share some video of mine. Cheers

Get a capture card and follow instructions. I have the hauppauge HD-pvr and though it is expensive the video quality is good. Check out my videos if you want to see the quality (youtube account OK8888)

That's pretty nice. What brand DVD recorder is it?
Panasonic DMR ES15 clearance offer . No body wanted it. silly people had no clue what they missed out on...
Im to lazy to connect via S-video so would be even better if i did.

NONE there all over priced. high mark up products, Thats why companies make them.

HD
The Haup HD PVR Does what it does and does not need you to open your PC, So works with more computers ( laptops ) and works as another equipment recorder as its Component feed recorder as well. (no messing with HDMI protection)

SD
Its not the hardware that matters its the software bundled with it, (SD Mpeg 2 USB caputer cards have not changed much. )
Get a cheap Dazzle with S-video input. Dont waste money on HD software when the feed is only SD.

Hi,

I use the "Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle" and I'm able to record in 720p or 1080p by the analog output of the PS3.

Here is the result in 720p on youtube:

I think the quality is pretty good for the web.
I hope you will enjoy it :-)

Requirements for that device.
• Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit ( not 32bit or XP or Vista )
• A suitable USB 3.0 port using a Renesas chipset. (Will not work with USB2. MASSIVE mistake right there. Thats alot of users sales gone. )
• 4 GB of system memory ( Normal )

Other devices do 1080i for PS3 with out this devices choice to excluded a big market share of users still on computers with only USB2.
USB 3 is needed for HDMI recording but is not need for analogue console recording so you should get a different version.

You're right, the requirements are high for this equipment, and it was hard to me to find the good usb 3.0 card compatible with the Blackmagic.

But when the installation is done, the card works very well (on my computer anyway:) ) and it's work very well for the editing with Adobe Première Pro 5.0, very accurate.

Last thing, until now, I'don't know a way to record the HDMI from the PS3 with is HDCP protection.

So how much will you be paying for a HD PVR or Dazzle then? In the meantime i'll probably use a decent HD camera (no idea what make sorry).

As with every thing its depends were you buy and if you include the possible upgrades
Of windows 7 and USB.
$180 if you go with big name sites like AMAZON. just for the HD PVR unit.
More if you upgrade your PC. ( How much is Windows 7 now. )
(Haups HD-PVR does not need USB 3 or Windows 7 so needs no upgrades)

Thats why for some the $150 + just to record GT5 is not worth it.
Uploading is another problem as well.
( For Me its not worth it. The Satellite allready has a FREE PVR attached and uploading HD takes for ever to free sites. And that new DVD recorder was cheap. )

Dazzle $40
No upgrades needed.

( There is no way to record PS3 HDMI with out A tower type slot in PC card add on and they are being looked at buy the lawers for breaking HDMI protection. but nothings been done yet about them as they are stupidly high priced. )

Roxio Game Capture card is pretty good for the money (100 USD, 70 if you use Machinimas offer)

What mercedes benz is that in the video.....how does it have a rear wing...
Most none race cars can have a wing applied in GT auto section
Edit 2 door not 4.
Due to the Boxee shape of the car SL 500 98 I think.

Every thing else is smooth and newer.
