Ok, admittedly, I’m not the fastest guy on the planet however, I routinely obtain gold rewards in time trials (usually in top 2%) and I’m really struggling to understand how the top 10 in the Spa event are running low 8s????

My best is a 9:08 and I’m going balls to the wall. Like I said, I know I’m not the quickest guy on the game but for the life of me I can’t understand how I’m 20+ seconds slower than the top 10 per lap. Is there a cheat these guys are using?
 
What Spa time trial...? And how can the laptimes be that long? :lol:

Some serious elaboration is in order.

Limited X2019 race where you also have leaderboards for completing 5 laps. Currently 1st place is 8:01.
I'm assuming they are cutting some corners since there are no penalties.
 
I've just drove one quick lap - 1:38. That gives around 8:10 total time. Cutted last chicane and those turns after Eau Rouge.
