I was wondering if this was the same for other people, but personally I think getting gold on these 3 races is far too easy, mean every race you can easily overtake Sebastian and leave him behind. Anyone else think the same?

I will say no, because we are all different, and have different driving skills, reaction time and ability to learn and so on, so i think Gran Turisimo 6 is for more regular gamers than hardcore gamers and that's a good thing so everybody can enjoy this game and have fun. That's my opinion :)

I couldn't agree more. :)

I would say no because I could only muster bronzes on the races and am more than ok with that. Couldnt even get close to Vettel. Dont really care for driving the red bull cars the way they come tuned. Way to hyper.
Dont really care for the cart races or drifting either so I havent even bothered finishing those.

I have to say yes, they were far more easier than in GT5. In GT5, each one took me weeks to complete, in GT6, I completed them all in an hour....on both accounts.

Yeah I never bothered doing them in GT5, just did em in GT6 because of how easy they were. Got gold for all three in about 15 minutes haha. Need to make them much harder in the next game...

I got 2 gold on 2 races and 1 bronze on suzuka using controller........ with doing short cut  But still not easy
but i'm happy the car more controllable than gt5

Oh, I didn't even bother cutting any corners. One, because I don't cheat and two, just in case it penalised me for doing so. Another reason is the races are easy so why need to cut corners?

C'mon mate everyone else golded them 2 days ago!;)

Not everyone! I got gold on all the kart, license test, mission races, one-make races, coffee break Challenge, goodwood festival of speed, lunar rover Exploration, Red Bull Kart Master and Red Bull X2014 Junior and Standard Championship, but the final Red Bull event is very hard, it's going to fast and i have not the time to react so i'm more off the course than on.
And i'm playing with controller.

Took me a solid day to get gold on good wood but I beat the new challenges in less than an hour... The new (cars) are much easier to drive. Plus the courses are more a mix of high speed and technical and there's no penalties for going off course or hitting buildings... That's why I found it much easier

And i did it! :) But the only time i won over S. Vettle was on Circuit de spa-francorchamps.
My point is that if it's easy for some, it is not the case for others, to those who won over S. Vettle i will say that you are very good driver (s) :) , but not all of us who plays Gran Turismo is as good as that.

Sorry for my English, i'm from Norway ;)

Its not easy, very hard indeed. I'm using a fanatec CSR and had to turn rotation down to 300 degrees and reduce force feedback as well as cut corners. Not having native wheel support on the fanatec wheels means you can not tell when the tyres are losing grip :( still 100x better than using a pad tho :)

I also use controller. :)

I understand that. That is why I made this thread, to see people's opinions on what they think the races are like. :)

For me it was far to easy. One of the greatest challenges ive had was getting golds in the redbull cars in GT5 with a controller. Big disappointment this time round!

It wasn't very hard, but wasn't very easy either. I had a little trouble on Suzuka, the other 2 went pretty well for me. Completed the whole event in 45 minutes. But it's mostly a mixed awnser. I used a DS3 to complete this event...

I destroyed 3 Controllers in pure anger in gt5 it was way to hard and the game ended up in the trash after numerous tries to win gold on the Nürburgring Nordschleife with the AMG Mercedes CLK-LM '98 i manage to get silver but gold was to hard.
Gold on license test was nearly impossible and i was just happy to get bronze and silver on most of them.

It is too hard, I have to avoid slower cars left and right in the Standard car series, I'm yet to win the championship.

The Vettel challenge is far too easy, while in GT5 it was too damn hard. Now all you need to do is complete two laps without steering your car too much and eating Armco. The fact that the X2014 is also a tamer car with its active suspensions and whatnot doesn't help with the sense of achievement you get from completing the three events of the X2014 Challenge proper.

How far off course were you going to be hitting buildings? Quick mid-race trip into town?

The times to beat were all easy. The only difficult thing about it was the idiotic AI car. If you're behind him he's crawling, parking it on apexes, exiting slow out of corners. As soon as you're past him though, suddenly he finds the limit, which unfortunately leads to you being rammed off the track by the lunatic. Managed to get gold on them, but the Logitech logo in the middle of the G27 has a few new dents in it. 🤬

Not much a fan of either the standard or the fan car. Don't see myself doing the challenges again or using either car again.

I have golded everything else, but haven't even unlocked the Vettel challenge yet. The 5 race championship is, for me, very hard. The individual races aren't too bad, except Apricot Hill, where 2nd is the best I have got so far. The AI are complete loons and I find the car itself to be very difficult to control. There seems to be sporadic massive understeer, leading to a trip onto the grass, or it seems to swerve when braking, leading to the same thing. I have done Apricot Hill maybe 100 times and there always seems to be someway for something to stop me golding. Very frustrating to the point that my G27 is also in danger. In response to OP, no, they are not too easy at all.

ps....Have now golded the championship, plus all the races, finally. Started on the Vettel challenge, and after golding the first two by a good margin, several seconds, after two goes each, I will have to admit this section does seem ridiculously easy, esp when compared to the standard challenges. From what I am reading Suzuka may be a little different.
pps...Golded Suzuka in two attempts. Yes, the Vettel stage is too easy
