Hello Friends and Racers,
If you are like me, you like to go as fast as you can. And what other race car can do that like the Red Bull! So me and my race buds are always in search of the perfect set-up, gearing and overall setup. So, I have decided to set up this thread dedicated only to the RED Bull X1.
Here is some info for novice and Intermediate Racers. I usually have the Downforce Maxed out, not all the time, but most of the time depending on the track.
Downforce-150 front 200 back, this is critical in maintaining your line through the turns.
Traction control- off
ASM-ON, some fast guys run with this off.
Anti-skid-off
Driver assist-off
ABS -SET AT 1
Force feedback-2-3(when set higher than 3, you are fighting the wheel to keep it on course).
Camber front-4.8, rear 4.8
toe- front--2.3, rear-2.5
suspension- spring rate set on the low end for both front and back.
compression-7 or 8
extention-7-8
anti-roll at 5-7
Brake balance front 5, rear 2.
Drivtrain- initial torque-5-8
brake sensitivity-7-12
acc. sensitivity-7-12
Top speed gearing Can vary from track to track, but usually on tight road courses like cote azur, I will run top speed at 267mph while lowering the 1st 4 gears and lengthening the 5th and 6 gears, slightly. At Road Indy, top speed of 280mph.
Depending on whether you run a wheel or controller you may alter any of the setting to your liking. I hope you find this info helpful. Hope to see you out there on the Racetrack. I host exclusively for the Red Bull X1, LOOK FOR LEYBA08, RED BULL RACING.
Good luck and hope to see you out on the track soon. I welcome any feedback any fellow racers may have.
