If you haven't seen the news it has been confined that red bull is now powered by Infiniti. This is something that we gt5'ers have known since we got the x2010.

The redbull F1 car?

Isn't Renault and Nissan basically the same company anyway? Sounds like they just wanted more advertising for a different brand.

It's still powered by the exact same engine as the other teams, it's just been rebranded Infiniti to boost the brand image.

But how have we known about this since the X2010 exactly?

They are just badging the engines on the F1 cars Infiniti as opposed to Renault which owns Nissan and as an extension Infiniti. Has nothing to do with the X2010.

Yes i'm really not seeing what the X2010 or GT5 has to do with this?

Maybe one of the videos for the car mention something about Infiniti?

Glad I wasn't crazy about Renault = Infiniti though.

Kinda like that 'Toyota' 'Camry' in NASCAR.

This has nothing to do with GT5! It doesn't even have anything to do with the X2010!

Thats my thoughts, but I'd like the OP to come back and explain this comment:

Maybe it's a play on words? "Infinity" referring to the performance of the x2010....weak but its my best guess.

Got it correct it was a play on words regarding the engine

wow riddles, keep it up dude

Not powered by Infinity, just sponsored. Regardless, it is still a Renault-Nissan engine even if it said Infinity.

Infinity to Sponsor Red Bull

Maybe the X1 being listed as a Japanese car?
