Red flags?

Sometimes when I am racing there will be a little red flag beside my name, and I didn't think I had did anything..There are numbers that are constantly changing, like some sort of timer..Was I getting red flagged for something, or is it for something completely different?

I think it's the gap to the leader.

All I can think of are invalidated lap times because you went into a new lap without serving your penalty. Those show red, but don’t occur in racing. Do you mean racing racing or racing as in playing the game? If it’s the latter than I’m pretty sure it’s what I said.

Edit: Or delta timing to leader, like the above poster said.

Seems you are describing the gap to the leader of the race.
In this case the "+3.317"?
