I've just bought a Wheelstand Pro for my DFGT as I could no longer stand the wobbly ironing board solution I had going and it has transformed the game for me. I had a real downer on it for ages as it was such a pain having to set the wheel up and when I had I seemed to struggle in the races because of the lack of control I had due to the excessive movement of the wheel. Now I'm actually enjoying playing. If anyone else is thinking of getting a Wheelstand Pro I say don't hesitate, they are fantastic! Having played GT since the first in the series I can honestly say I'm enjoying this one the most because of the wheel (I never used one for the others in the series).

I can concur with your WSP assesment.
So good I bought it twice lol.

G27 + GT2. So much more convenient for people who can't dedicate a room to a full rig.

I think many underestimate the importance of a proper driving rig to give the proper sitting position to help improve the gaming experience.

I made my own stand out of wood.

It is really stable and folds up beautifully. However it apparently wasn't puppy proof :) . She has eaten the right hand support away so far that it has become unstable.

My good wife has therefore bought me a WSP Deluxe for Christmas. Only problem is I have to make the wooden one last until then :)

I've found a new love for GT5 as well. I don't know, I just like it more now!

Congrats, it makes all the difference in the world.

Been there before, I slapped together a monstrosity of a wood rig until my custom zalem rig was built. It wobbled all over the place, then when I got done with my metal rig I used it for 3 or 4 days until it went to get powder coated and I had to use the wobbly wood monstrosity until it was finished. You can see the build Here.
