Reduction in FFB for G25/G27 and maybe DFGT

Perhaps due to this:

- The [Feedback Strength] of the Thrustmaster T500RS can now be adjusted across a wider range.

The FFB strength and feel of other wheels seem to have suffered. Just as I did in GT5P and the TT demo, my G25 has always been set to the maximum 10. And this latest update is probably the worst in how it conveys the feel of the car- the weight shift and the tire grip.

I even went as far as deleting the latest update and reverting back to the unpatched GT5 and by doing that it confirmed that PD has indeed reduced or significantly changed both the quantity and quality of the FFB. Right now I'm downloading the 1.05 patch and since I hardly play online or use GT5 for anything other than TT (which is why FFB feel is paramount), I'm likely to stick to that until either:

a) PD comes to their senses
b) I can afford the T500RS

Can't confirm it for the DFGT myself, but my brother says he has no loss of FF with his after the update.

mhm, i didn´t really felt a difference with my g27, but didn´t drive any of my favorite cars today, so i could be missing something. i´ll try some more tonight and give you a feedback.

It makes a difference if you're already on the highest setting with FFB wheel. If your setting is less than 5 than you probably won't feel the reduction in the FFB. Since I use the wheel and play GT5 almost daily the change is noticeable.

I have DFGT and have't noticed any change in the FFB, but i have only done a couple of races since new update, i have noticed tho when hitting the apex on a corner the car lefted up on two wheels, nothing major but something that did't happen befor 1.06 update

My DFP actually seemed to feel a bit better after the update with a little MORE FFB...

That said its a bit unreliable as its about 6 years old, has a lot of miles on it!

Odd, I have a G27 and my FFB is set on 10 and I feel no change. I've driven multiple of my favorite cars to this point and they still feel great(the same). LFA, Enzo, F10/F2007, '05 WRX RM, and a few more..... Still feels great, wonder what's up with yours.. I can certainly say the "new" seasonal races where the skid recovery is "stuck on" it feels completely different, but that's it for me. Cheers.

I haven't tried 1.06 yet so I'm hoping it's not the case.

I really wish they would give us the option to increase the strength of the force feedback even further in this game. Even on 10 it is barely there. Driving the F1 cars was a dissapointment. I was hoping something along the lines of the feel of the Rfactor Formula car.
