Regarding Prize Cars

I am new to GT3 and the forum so please don't think me an idiot for askng but in the the Sunday cup I achieved two firsts and a sencond place but did not recieve a prize car. Do I need all golds in this type of cup to recieve the Prize car? Hope I don't seem too dense.

2nd off, Welcome to the forums

3rdly, Yup. You do have to get gold on the 3 races to get the prize car

4thly, (and I'm just answering incase you wonder about this after) You cannot win the prize cars more than once, unless you are in a "series" race.

5thly, No question is dumb... But, just so people don't get grumpy, before you ask something, you may want to do a search for the answer first. (There's a search function up at the top). I didn't see anything on this topic, so you should be golden.

Thanks. I did search and found no answer so thought I would ask. Looking forward progressing through the game and participating in the community.

And, FYI - I am FAR from an expert at the game, but I'm happy to share my thoughts and opinions.

Just out of curiousity, what did you choose for your first car?
 
I have tried both the Miata and the Trueno I need to buy a memory card so that every time my wife turns the machine off I don't lose my progress. lol

Ya, I went through that for a while, I'm not sure where abouts you live, but in North America, there seems to be a huge shortage of Memory Cards. I myself am in Ontario, Canada and we haven't seen any memory cards here for 'bout 6 weeks. Atleast.
 
That sounds about right, too cold.... for his name that is. Yes, 3 golds will do the trick. A memory card would be great also. As far as the memory card shortage goes, I have no clue if that is true or not. Good luck with GT3.

There has been a shortage I finally found one this past weekend and now have Golds on B1-B4. I am going after the prize Miata before I start racing.

Are you trying to start the simulation mode without buying a car?? I ask that since you state that you are going after the prize Miata..... Good luck! :burnout:
 
Well, there was a thread somewhere about trying to complete the game without buying a single car. We soon discovered it can't be done.... You must buy 2 cars :eek:
