Yush. Not sure how many people who browse this forum are into Reggae, but if you are then why not share your thoughts on the music, arists and scene in general in here.

I like a bit of dancehall, but not too much. When you're in the right mood though, there's nothing quite like it. Fiya bun!

ah, reggae. I have to get my butt more into it, but my bandwidth doesnt help ^^
I want to know more about this, so can you rasta heads can give some advice? here to start? (yhea, there is bob marley, but please, I want something more... pure)

as side comment, I have heard some reggae tributes to many bands I like, (like pink floyd, led zeppelin, and the beatles) and they rock. this is not what got me to want to learn about reggae, it is because I am into every kinda music ^^

all those sound great too on my opinion.

check for the cd "bam bam is murder":note: all the track got allmost the same beat.

believe those CD's got allmost all the best songs.

Every track must use the 'Bam Bam Riddim' then. Hence the title of the CD.

Your list is more dancehall orientated compared to mine, f50. But if anyone wants some good dancehall then...

Beenie Man
Bounty Killer (Warlord)
Buccaneer
Buju Banton
Capleton
Delly Ranks
Elephant Man
Frisco Kid
General Degree
Lexxus
Mega Banton
Mr. Vegas
Ninjaman
Red Rat
Sizzla
TOK
Zebra

Nice to see people who like reggae. I gotta admit though I don't really know that much when it comes to artists. We just go out with our guitars and sing on the porch or beach or something...

Here's a recommendation for anyone who wants to get some decent reggae from a mixture of different artists.
