I was a huge fan of Reggie back in the day, and was really excited to hear that 2 teams would retire his jersey when the eagles decided to... as he is the first player in history to achieve this feat, and in my and many others opinion, was the greatest lineman the game has ever seen... So, obviously, I was really looking forward to seeing them retire his jersey on Monday night football tonight, since they hyped it all night and even during the game, but then, they at ABC decided not to show any of it, which was in my opinion, pathetic, considering that afterwards they had an interview with his wife/widow, and before they were showing so many interviews on TV of his former teammates. And I'm wondering if it's just me and my brother, or, if anybody else thought this was rediculas and sad that they couldnt show it - instead, we got to see a crappy remake country video almost identical to all the 12 others that have been on. So I'm quite P!$$ed off about this and wanted to share - see if anyone else was expecting/hoping to see it
I too, would have rather seen the number retirement instead of Tim McGraw's horribly annoying song. Besides, that was the only thing Eagles fans could cheer about all night.
