Reiter Engineering, the factory-backed racing program that runs the Murcielago R-GT in the GT1 category of the FIA GT, has built a street legal version of the car for road use. It features a vented front bonnet as well as a carbon fiber rear wing, rear fascia with modified exhaust system, and a new front splitter. The upgrades also include OZ Racing wheels, slotted brake rotors and a modified suspension system.

Amazed how long this took to get here.

The car is so-so. Not much different from a regular Murcielago, and the exhausts look daft IMO.

Doesn't really remind me of the RGT to be honest, just a dressed-up Murcie.

Its such a shame that we don't see the R-GT in more racing series. But anyways, that is a tuned super car that I can bare. Not to over done. Those exhausts tips are for pure aerodynamics, and fits the Lamborghini way of lunacy.

why is it yellow make it black! and it could look like the RGT a bit more too
it does really just look like a dressed up murcie
reiter did all the decent work with the GT car cant it stay looking like this?

DO WANT!

I think it looks amazing, and no doubt it goes like stink too. Those exhausts are just brilliant!

Well, it's not exactly one of the more successful FIA GT cars, but it's a neat idea nonetheless.

I don't know how, but this brings out how old the Murcie looks..
Probably because it's all done on a 6.2 Murcielago instead of the LP640.

👍
Because that bodykit would need some of the smoothest roads in the world to be kept from being destroyed by rocks and anything else.

It's a neat car as others have said, but I think Reiter is easily capable of something more sinister, considering what they were able to do to the Diablo GTR.

Finally it's here. I'm currently racing with the Reiter's car on GTR2
The ALMS car also looks great

-> Unfortunately this Reiter didn't impress me much, but I applaud them for the effort.

-> Although Edo Competition did a better job of street-legaling the "not-to-be-raced-or-street-driven-rich-dude's-toy" Ferrari (Enzo) FXX:

I dont' think the Reiter is an actual streetified GT car, rather, a modified street car inspired by a track car, and possibly sharing some components.
