A major reverse-engineering breakthrough with GT4's and TT's replay / demonstration files fixes Tourist Trophy's notorious broken license tests, ability to save replays of affected license tests, and the Replay Theater's built-in demos while playing the game on the PCSX2 emulator.
For years Tourist Trophy has suffered these game-breaking issues and I think the game has missed out on a lot of deserved attention because of it. With this patch we can now play the game without having to mess with any settings, which should allow people to give this game a chance to shine. If you like this game, spread the word!

Made possible by the GT4 Replay Tool which is powered by Nenkai's PDTools and the Enceladus project.

What's the fix?
The replays and demonstrations are particularly sensitive to differences in floating point calculations, which throw off the replay's playback in-game.
By recording new replays on PCSX2, and modifying the game to replace the on-disc replays and demonstrations, we can eliminate the issue for PCSX2 players.
The patch consists of new, PCSX2-based recordings.

What's the fix?
The replays and demonstrations are particularly sensitive to differences in floating point calculations, which throw off the replay's playback in-game.
- When playing on PCSX2, they suffer from various issues including:
- Game freezes upon loading (file size of it gets wildly mis-calculated)
- Replays are considered corrupted and will not be allowed to load
- Saving a replay results in a wild mis-calculation of the file size and unable to save
- Demonstrations fail to load / repeatedly restart
- Demonstrations desynchronize (inaccurate playback)
By recording new replays on PCSX2, and modifying the game to replace the on-disc replays and demonstrations, we can eliminate the issue for PCSX2 players.
