Just to try and keep it fair for anyone involved in this , I have thoughts I should throw out to the forum to get their ideas.
1.) do we want to make this as a multiple genre of music lyrics :rock,country,rap,blues,hiphop or do we just want to go with just one genre of music ,like rock as Sureshot mentioned , I myself am a rock and roller, but I would like to keep this on an even keel for all , so I suggest possibly keeping the genre open. thoughts ?
2.) as far as mainstream , I realize that if you live in another country, there is probably a band / musician that is big in your country , but maybe not well known or even heard of in another country , you will have to use some common judgement here. The same goes for people here in the states , there are so many regional bands / musicians here , again use common judgement.
3.) as far as guessing lyrics , there may be a time when someone fills in a blank with the word "car" when in all actuality the word is "cars" , I think maybe we can let this slide ( don't know for sure ) 💡's from forum ? The only problem that I could foresee with this would be that maybe a member mispells a word or comes remotely close to the real word , he / she may say they got it , don't know ? So should we say that the lyrics should be 100 % spot on , no if's,no ands or no buts ? or do we make that occasional " close enough , it's your turn " ?
Ideas guys / girls will be greatly appreciated to make this as simple as possible and have some fun for everyone involved.
ABSOLUTELY - NO PROFANE WORDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. There are younger eyes looking at this as well.So lets try to keep it clean as possible.
I will try to keep a running tab on the very 1st post of this thread , to see who the music guro of GTPlanet is.
Lets give it a day or so to see how many takers care to get involved.
