Your PS3 needs to be on and in 'wait mode', I think...
Who knows what is/isn't possible on Apple stuff any more - they're re-inventing the internet update by update![]()
crooky369Not from using safari but using skyfire I'm almost there I just can't select an opponent... :argh: Has anyone got any suggestions?
Can you do B-Spec while away from your PS3 but it can be off, without an Internet Connection (like Bluetooth for example) or should it be in something like wait mode??
It uses some archaic JavaScript technique to get the drivers list from the opening window eg, gt home. Really stupid.
I find the whole web based stuff extremely clunky. It really needs a decent web dev to improve it! It's slooooow, perhaps they are trying to emulate the slowness of the ps3 gt5 menus.
The race screen is all data lists. Bleh. Some poor turkey had to do that CSS. Use tables for tabulated data dammit. </rant>
BleyoYour PS3 has to be on with "Server Standby" setup in the Remote Race section. You have to be logged into PSN, so I assume you need internet access.
Quick question.
When you put the PS3 in server standby mode, in order to run the remote races via a PC does the PS3 go in standby mode?
Can you still do A-Spec races or any other things within the game?
BleyoNope. The game puts up a screensaver while in standy mode and then shows the remote race once one starts. If you quit the standby mode, you can't run any remote races.
Has anyone tried doing the remote races using an iPod touch yet? Is it possible? I gotta run some errands this morning and one place I'll be for a while has WiFi. Hoping to bring my iPod touch to keep busy whilst there.
