Just sourced some pretty cheap E30 bottlecap rims that look to be in great condition based on the photos, but obviously have been repainted to match the previous owners car. When I restore these and repaint them in alloy, would I need to sand blast them first? or is that not needed? Any alloy paint recommendations are welcome too.
