Repeated Races for Car color

I know there's been talk of this in other threads, but I've seen nothing specifically for this topic.

I'm sure all of you have had a similar problem, but I just want to see how determined some of you are to get that certain car in that certain
color in a specfic race.

For example:

I've raced the New York Enduro 39 times to get the 'SuperBee' Charger in Black, but I've still yet to get the desired color.

How many times-in what race, for what car, in what color- have you raced the same track over, and over?

Heh! I raced the roadster enduro for months to get the black Mazda rx-7 LM with 00 for number. How many times? No idea, but a good guess is well over 50. I too raced the New yorker a lot, but I wanted the bee in black, but that took me about 20 times. I also had great difficulty to get the Chevelle in black (see a pattern?) and the solidcolored Ford GT in guess what color...

Since then, I still haven't got my black GTi. What else I haven't got, is a blue Mini Marcos from the MINI race, and a black Beetle from the Beetle race.
At least the MINI and GTi cups are fun to race, but I really really hate the Beetle Cup car.

I re-ran the Tsukuba race a few times to get the 00 car. I kept getting the green and the blue versions. I did get the 00, but I also landed car 212 and the red one, which also look good.

But if ever I re-run races, it's because the prize car is worth a lot of money (I keep 95% of all my prize cars). The only time I've re-run it for colour other than the Tsukuba race was the Clio cup when I got the #5 Clio Race Car in Hot Pink.
