Replacing disc from LE

So my apartment was robbed last weekend, and one on the things they made off with in addition to pretty much all of my hooked up consoles, was my copy of GT5. Fortunately I was keeping the disc in a small generic jewel case and had the rest of the LE package elsewhere. It's possible they got the original jewel case from another stack of games, but I think it was in the large LE box..

At any rate, I do have insurance and should be able to replace it. What I'm wondering is whether the disc art for the US version ever changed and if its still possible to get new copies with the original disc if it did. Also, is there any actual difference in the actual content on the newer XL and whatever other versions are floating around now, or do they just come with dlc codes?

The content is the same the only difference is that XL starts you off at spec 2.0 and all the rest start you off at 1.0. It's about 2 less ours of Downloading.
 
I feel ya I have the collectors edition, and i would be upset if it went missing
 
Just my experience on the subject.
I bought the XL on-line as at the time I didn't have a home internet connection and it was the simplest way to get to spec 2.0. The disc I bought however turned out to be from a different region and so I couldn't play off of the old game save and had to start from scratch.
It sucked but I'm back up at A-39 and B-40.
