Hey, has anyone notice during replays you can change the angle of the replay by press the left and right buttons on the D-Pad?!?

I never knew this! I was watching an arcade race at Seattle I'd just run, and fiddling with the DS2 (I have a GT3 wheel) and just happened to hit the Right button on the D-Pad. Next thing I know, I'm looking out the right side of the car!

Yep. But has anyone else noticed that there are a whole lot more angles that the computer uses when you let it control them itself? There are some cool front tire shots and a roof mount (kinda dumb, but neat idea). There is also the one that follows the rear bumper. Too bad we can't select these ourself.

Oh, and what happened to fast forward and rewind!?! Weren't these options in former GT games? There are a couple scenes I'd like to just watch over and over.

Must try that - does it focus on your car?

I know it's narcissistic but I like to watch my own car.

Ooh, a mirror...

Ummm .... I don't remember. I think the only view setting is to let it automatically pick the cars. If it's a close race, then it's even better. When it goes to the body shots you can see other cars really well (sometimes better), and watch them chasing eachother pretty closely. Did you know you can also set it to do the psycadelic views that change with the music? Pretty rad eh? (:

Hmm - must investigate.

I'm working through the arcade mode at the moment - I'm heading away on hols next week so I'm trying to pick up some easy percentage points before I head away - should hopefully be around 85 per cent when I go, just leaving most of the enduros, half of prof and (deep breath) the dreaded time trials.

I think you can only change the camera if you start watching the replay from the inside view as oppesed to the TV style replay (switch between the modes with the accelerate button).

I don't remember either GT1 or GT2 having this, but it would be nice. What happens when you want to see what you did during the last lap of a ten lap race?!? And if you happen to miss it or choose the wrong angle, you have to watch the entire thing again!

You can switch between the available views using your driving view switch button.
Also, you can switch between the cars the replay follows with the up/down keys on the keypad.
