Replay classification glitch

I have just won the 24 Minutes of Le Mans. I saved the replay and went to the end. It showed me crossing the line in 1st, but because the 2nd placed car had more speed than me, he overtook me after the finish. Even though we had finished, the game classified me as second, and the gap was -1.644. However I knew I had won. I went back to the race menu and it showed 3 stars. What is going on? Is something wrong with my game?

happened to me once to during a 15min race at AH where I won by 0.1xx I knew I've won and got 3 stars with the first priced awards. I did get listed as second tho.
