Replay Controls?

Glad someone asked this, I thought i was just sleep deprived because I couldn't find some hidden controls. It does seem to be a rather glaring oversight but getting it fixed anytime soon is a little unrealistic I think. I am hopeful though, because there's nothing like trying to catch that moment that just happens at the end of an 8 minute session and fumbling the pause, ugh

I searched for a while for it last night, no there isn't an option and it's just dumb. It's fairly apparent that Japanese developers just don't get it that us American and European consumers don't enjoy wasting time on crap like this.
Another thing that annoys me, you win a car, have to select the car delivery thing, have to tell it to use the car, wait for the annoying cheesey music, hit no I don't want to use it, and then you have a car in your garage. C'mon, I don't have time for this nonsense, I should be making moneys instead.

This is the 5th game in the series that doesnt have it. You cant seriously think they are just going to patch a magical fast forward or rewind feature into the game. Yes it sucks but this game just doesnt have that feature and never will. Only 20% of the cars are even finished. Rewinding or fast forwarding during a replay is the last thing on their mind.

Yes, just export your replay to the XMB, then use that 'save file' and send it to that person, he/she just need to import it from their XMB

Boo at the lack of replay control ! Kaz please patch this huge hole!
How do i send it? ive saved it on my XMB in "Saved Data Utility (PS3)" and when i press options it only says "Copy" "Delete" "Information"

Anyone knows how to change camera view in replay mode?
Its entirely possible, because Digital Foundry in their analysis used bumper view for comparisons

want to know whats even stupider then this
the option to change the gear ratios has apparently been removed - its grayed out even with the fully customizable transmission
this is a problem for a turbo car because you have to keep the RPM's at the correct range for the turbo to get full power and that power drops off in a short RPM band and you loose power
