Replay in LAN mode?

I'm very curious to know this, since the 2 player replay mode can't be saved. If LAN mode replays can be saved, then you can make Photomode pictures out of it aswell, which i would really like (saving precious moments of overtaking friends in impossible ways = good fun

i've asked this before, no answer though... there's really no excuse for not having this option, it's not as if it's hard to put in there because it would require lots of extra work.. it doesn't.
and it's actually a very nice feature to have.. who the hell wants to save replays against AI anyway? those are boring, the only good replays are time attack ones, but those aren't nearly as fun to watch as replays with 6 human players of similar skill. (best motoring fans will agree.)

Anyone care to answer this?

Yeah, i'd love to hear his reasons for leaving out full screen replays in 2p, and ask him what planet he's been on!

I think it has something to do with the photomode capability in replays
