Replay Trouble

Hi everyone. I'm new to WRS (I literally just submitted my Registry times). But I'm having some trouble with the replays of my Spoon CR-Z. I noticed that every guide tells me to use a "save fastest lap" option. But, I cannot, for the life of me find this feature. I have a good lap sitting in the middle of a replay and dont think ill be able to save it. I can run more laps no problem but i was hoping someone could walk me through the replay saving, and then the split times in the most thorough way possible (act like i'm 5). I can't wait to start competing!

If that said lap is your best lap of said run *AND* it is faster than what the best lap-indicator showed at the beginning of that run, then you can save your best lap with this icon:

Once leaving the event (returning to the arcade-menu or turning of your PS3) your replay cannot be saved, even if GT5 remembers your best time.

In the replay theatre in GT Life you can export your replay to your PS3 XMB. From there you may copy it an external hard disk or pen drive.

After you exit the track, when the leaderboard is being displayed select this icon,

it should be next to the save replay one and that will save only the fasyest lap.

Hey I just saved a Best Lap Replay for WRS week 5 and it even says it is a best lap replay, but for some reason the replay is not, there is something wrong with the way it is saving.

What's wrong with it?

When playing back your replay then don't bother the "Best Lap" indicator, because that's the time of the previously best lap at that time. You should only use the actual playback of your replay when you want to study your lines, get your split times or to check if your lap was clean. The split times in the live timing monitor will not show the right times until the car has passed the actual checkpoints.

The correct lap time is displayed in the replay theatre.

I saved the best lap replay and exited out to go to the replay theatre, In the theatre it says TimeTrial (Best Lap Replay) with my best lap time. But when I play it it is a fulll replay and stops just as my best lap begins. Also It was a valid lap, I'm positive of it.

If it shows the correct time in the replay theater, then it is the correct lap. When you play the replay the time shown in the top corner is your previous best.
