replay view?

I don't have gt5(yet) but I haven't ever seen this camera view before, or at least, nobody on this forum seems to use this view when playing replays. I really like this view alot more than others, as the angle is quite close to in-car replays of real life track videos.

For instance this video where the M3 is compared to real life, this camera angle would be of much better use for comparison:



The camera is bit off to the side in the M3 video, but better yet this miata comparison video could look better with the camera angle I suggested:



so is this some kind of hidden replay view? or do many of you guys just not prefer this view for some reason?
 
In some cars (Mazda 787B, etc) this view doesn't show the track too much.

It works well on NASCARs though.
 
Is that just from Replay? (The first video with the NSX)

I never noticed that view...
 
I think the driver in vid #1 had a PS eye. You can move your view to where ever you want it before unplugging the eye. The view will stay 👍
