How do you extract them? Do you need to record replays to DVD or something, or can you get them onto the PS3 memory? What about photos? No options come up when I select save.

Also, how do you embed them? (sorry, I know this has probably been asked a thousand times!!)

Sorry if there is already a thread on this. I didn't want to search 500 pages.
If there is, just let me know.

GT5 replay files are data files therefire you need a capture card to view them outside of GT5. Photos, you just export to the XMB and copy them to a USB stick and put them on your computer. Then use an image hosting site like tinypic to upload them. To emebed them, wrap
tags around the URL of the image. Also there is a search button here

Thank you for all your info! Much appreciated! I was wondering how you were supposed to search!:)

I prefer to explain in a bit more detail because many people over the past couple years have been confused and don't understand how the replays work.

GT5 replays aren't video files. When you see replay save data on your hard drive, you aren't looking at a video file. What you're looking at is a set of instructions that tells GT5 what to depict in real-time when rendering your replay in the game. It tells the game what cars were there, what color they were, where they were at any give time, what they were doing at any given moment, et cetera, and then the game engine renders that in real-time just as it would render the race as it was originally taking place. The difference is that you're no longer controlling the car during the replay and you see it from different views.

So, contrary to popular misinformation in the past, there are no programs that can display GT5 replays, other than GT5 itself, and there are no programs that can convert replays to video files, other than having GT5 display them while you use a camcorder or capture device to record the images from your television.
