Replays gone after moving to new PS3...?

I just moved all my data including game saves to a new PS3, but while the game saves are perfectly usable, all my replays are gone.

1) Is this normal?

2) Is there a way to retrieve them?


And, no, I cannot go into my old PS3 and export the replays, because the optical drive on the old one is dead.
 
Replays are saved separately then game save files. You cannot retrieve them if you can't get to your old PS3.
