Would you like to be able to "request a drift"?

i.e.
You fill out a form, with information on:
Example:
Car - RX7 Type RZ
Track - Laguna Seca
Corner - T5

And then be able to download a video of the request and watch the drift?

~CYD

Car - excudo pikes peak version
Track - manaco
Corner - whole thing

or
Car - a F1
Track - complex string
Corner - all

im expecting a download

I guess this idea wasn't as popular as I thought it would've been.

Originally I was thinking, regardless of drift skill, everyone has a "favorite" car, whether its the trueno, rx7, 240sx, Mustang, or whatever. I figured that it would've been nice to start a video collection/website where a particular car/drift selection could be made and the opportunity to the X-car that you've always had trouble drifting, or thought the car sucked for drifting, and see it drifted. I've heard of people complaining about high HP cars being to hard to drift or cars that are too heavy, troublesome to drift, and some people even mention cars to be near impossible to drift. However, I believe with the right setup, any RWD car can drift.

I also believe that even the best drifters have a corner or two they could work on, or would like to see some new lines or approaches to drift a corner. Some like to get the front end as close as possible all the way through the corner, others like to have the outside rear tires closest to the outside edge of the road etc.. Some people are all over the road, and what not. Oh well.

its a good challenge man, but we have a video archive building it self up, so make ur vids and read the first sticky

It's a very good idea IMHO......... If you, or someone else was to make a database (website), I would input a few clips....... I say do it, if you have the capacity to make it a reality....

;)

HAHA, Mustang i hope that is NO ONES favorite car
.. they make poo look good...

BTW that would be a good idea, if you were to host a website and make it so that anyone could submit a drift, 👍 you should go for it.

I can make a website, the problem is limited disk space...
I have only got 400MB total, with around 300mb available. Summer project...
I see a maximum possibility of 10 folks that would even bother with the site. And once GT4 is released, it's not even an issue anymore. 'cause then instead of making a video, you could just show online.

not exactly.... some people still need to learn the basic things or have such fun on this car or track that they might be able to do a replay or even a tribute like shadow drifter does and ETC.

i don't know if someone already said it,

but that would be a great idea. BUT, i'd have to say the person that is requesting the drift would have to pay the person drifting a certain amount of money. the person would pay half to recieve the video, then pay the other half if it is what he/se wanted.

i think that drifting is a art learned by practicing, watching and lessons that people give u, when money comes in this it because dirty
