Formula 1 has a forum, but what about the NASCAR fans? There aren't many threads started about NASCAR because there isn't a thred for it and they don't want to because you have to post in the Drifting and Other Motorsports forum. Whitch is the reason that I have only gone to that forum once. Is anyone with me?

Or at least make an SCCA forum (probably not going to happen).​
 
I voted yes, even though I'd never use it. There's not nearly as many Nascar fans on here than F1 fans, so even if it was made, it probably wouldn't be used much.
 
I believe that is what the Drifting & Other motorsports forum is for. Maybe Jordan could add under the name: "NASCAR"

I voted no, as there isn't much of a following on GTPlanet.net for NASCAR.
 
To be fair, there isn't a "Sports Car Racing" sub-forum yet there are many topics on it in the "Drifting and Other Motorsports" section.

Why don't you start a discussion about stock-car racing and/or contribute more to existing discussions?
 
The reason NASCAR doesn't have a forum, no matter how deserving it actually is, is NASCAR is supposed to be discussed in Drifting and Other Motorsports, and it isn't (much). So... there would be no point in making its own forum (or whatever those deals are called). That is just my two cents...

Exactley, if every other thread in that forum was about one type of motorsports you'd have a case for it, but I have to date only ever come across one Nascar thread, in 3 years. I know there has been more, or at least I expect there to have been more but that fact backs up my reason for choosing no.

Again, posting in the wrong forum for more attention is like posting strip club ads in a nursery. You get more of the wrong kind of attention.
 
I am a NASCAR fan but I voted no because I don't think there is much to discuss...

There are no technology changes, and I don't follow the points race. Thats all I could image you discussing, well maybe pit strategy and tires as well.

I just watch for the crashes and the excellent driving you usually see in the last 30 or so laps.
 
In the past, there has never been much support for a NASCAR forum, and it appears this still holds true today.

I directed everyone to a "GTPlanet Forums are currently experiencing severe database problems and will be temporarily offline" error message, so no, it was not just you.
