Reset ghost function not working

Hey fellow racers :)

I have a weird bug in my GT7 installation on PS5. The “Reset ghost position” is not working. The ghost will not reset at a new sector when I am too far behind.
I have (of course) checked that it’s turned on in the ghost settings.
I have even tried to delete the game and reinstall it but the bug is still there.
Anyone experienced the same thing?

Yes, I had the same thing when I was trying to do the Nurburgring circuit experience full lap - the ghost just drove off into the distance and didn't reset!
 
Glad it's not just me then!
Let's hope for all of us that someone perhaps has a solution :)
