Noticed that this game has no thread :indiff: ......so I made one. :dopey:

Anybody play this online? My s/n is TurboLevin2NV there....

Great game, but the loading times without an HDD really suck. But otherwise I love this game. Takes something from every Resident Evil. MY favorite character was Alyssa.....I think she's kinda like Ada Wong from RE2.

Plentay of stuff to unlock in this game. Been playing for 50+ hours and still don't have everything. I also love the new sense of "fear" in this game. It's not just the claustrophobio, or the fear of zombies, it's the fear of getting left behind :scared: :nervous: by your companeros. Without them, things get harder, less fun, and there's a big chance you won't make it on your own. Teamwork is crucial. And since you have less item slots, you NEED buddies to haul everything around, and so you can split up to do different jobs (i.e Decisions, Decisions).

I play it and I think it really is an unique gaming experience online.

The lack of communication in-game just does not work, so many newbies just does not know what's going on and wish you can spank them in the head or tell them which way to go instead of messing around and hoarding items that allow you to complete the level.

That load time is horrible sometimes even with HD, it is slow. Wish they made a PC version that will use the PC's hardware.
 
Hey I gotta question for anyone who played this game.
I like the resident evil series. I've played all the ones on the ps and ps2.
Except this one. The reason is, is that I heard that it lacked a storyline, besides escaping.
So is that true?
 
All of Resident Evil has to do with escaping right? I wouldn't say it is all about escaping..

Outbreak more or so is looser than the other RE games in storyline because they made it fit all the other characters better than focusing on one, which is really unique. Makes you want to finish the levels with every character to see what was their story.

It's somewhat similar to the RE 2 Movie.

Actually, I borrowed a copy from my friend last night and so far,
I'm really liking the game.
I havent gone online yet but I'll do eventually.
 
The RE out there is still RE2, it's the best there is. Story is great, controls, gameplay are great, though graphics are a little dated. I've beaten it four times, I love it that much. And this is coming from someone who doesn't beat games often.
 
Yea RE2 was the best so far. Until RE4 comes out that is.
But I dont see why they didnt remake RE2 like RE1.
Instead of just porting the game like it was on the PS

That's because the sales of RE0 and RE Remake did not do very well since it was on Gamecube. If they did do multiplatform it would sell.

I feel RE was better than RE0, RE0 was just too damn short. It would be nice if the remade RE2 + RE3.

RE4 is gonna sell big, however I hope the story sticks since there isn't Umbrella or STARS anymore.
 
Yeah I was shaky about that too....about there bein no STARS....but I'm just glad the series is taking a slightly different direction. If it stayed exactly the same, people would eventually get sick of it, and I would be sad because I am a huge RE fan. By the way, anybody seen the RE apocolypse (sp?) movie in theaters? I think it was above average....but nothing special.
