Restarting endurance accidents!!!

They need to add something very important in my mind to the next patch. When you choose the option to restart a race, there should be a second are you sure question that requires you to say yes a second time to restarting... this is the second time that I have accidently restarted an endurance race over an hour into it... SO DAMN FRUSTRATING!
 
There's already several thread on this subject.
 
Perhaps they could loan some of the question and confirmation menus from buying/equipping parts.
 
yup happened to me a 1.5 hours into the miata endurance race, haven't tried it again since

Happened to me twice on the 200 Mile laguna Seca race, first time i was roughly 30 laps in and my dog kept jumping up on me trying to lick my face so i paused to get rid of him & didnt realise the marker was hovering over the restart button. Second time i was arguing with my wife & had paused it yet again only this time the cursor somehow made its way to the exit option and yeah the rest is history. finally ended up completing it last night. gonna do the indy one tonight.

Learn to press "o" to unpause. I learned the hard way.
 
I always hit the gas pedal from the pause menu...Hope this doesn't happen to me!

I've been pressing "O" since PSX days. This accident happened way too often to me.
 
did it three times on the 60 lap grand valley, all three times were 10-30 laps in LOL
 
I have you all beat. 4 hour nurburgring restarted with 41 minutes left. Next day I did the race again and won.. talk about determination..
