Wouldn't it be nice if the used car dealership (if it comes back in GT7) would actually have a section for restoration-needed cars, some being in rough shape and stuff, and you have to do some restoring, from faded paint, some dents and scratches and rusty / chipped rims to a beautiful "new" car. Like let's say an old Mustang. Bad shape. Then you rebuild it and do some bodywork to restore it. Would be kinda cool. A casual side project from just buying, tuning and racing.

Wait, shouldn't this be in features suggestion forum? Did you try to look for something like this there?

I like the idea very much actually.

GT Auto would have so much more life to it if that were to happen. It's not like PD can't do that because if memory serves, GT6 was meant to have a repair damage feature along with a few others but it got cut off from the final release.

Paint fade and dirt on the car bodies I rate is actually easy for them to do but it's something they're not implementing. Should be just be an adjusting of some textures.
 
CSR Classics , a game for Android has that system where you can buy an old car and restore it.
 
Yeah @JoaoSilva similar to that game even though that game sucks. :p
