Hey guys,

I borrowed a buddies PS3 and played GT5 for about 2 weeks and made good progress.

I used it to device I wanted to buy a PS3 specifically for GT5

I bought my playstation and setup my PN Id- is there a way for me to copy and restore that saved game on my playstation?

I never went online while I was playing GT5
 
If I read it right you want to use your friend's game save?

If so, it's not possible, the game saves are tied to PSN accounts.
 
Hmmm, not sure, might work, since you never went online. Did you play it on your friend's PS3 in a profile you created for yourself or did you do so in his profile? If the former happened and you still can't get your save to work, just register your PSN to your friend's system's profile, start the game, exit and copy the new save. Don't know if it will work, but I don't know why it shouldn't!

The "username" that you setup on your new PS3 must MATCH the "username" that you were using on "his" PS3. I tried to copy my save data to my secondary username on the same machine as my primary and it wouldn't let me use it. Created an "identical" username on another machine and it let me access my save data... Kind of confusing, but not really I guess.
