Hello guys, just wondering if there was a way to restore old save games back into the game?

I just had to format the ps3 system and lost all my saves, however I kept my previous save game on a usb stick, after uploading the save back into the save game folder It wouldnt load up, any ideas on restoring the file?

Is your GT5 game save up to date? Version 2.01?

Nope, been offline for a while. aha, If I update now will the saves be salvagable?

Well, let me ask you this. Do you remember what version the save on your USB was on?

OK, that would be Version 1.10. I would try downloading the latest version of the game and then uploading your game save. This is the best I know to do. I hope this works for ya.

You need to logon to playstation network with the psn user name which the game was saved in so the system can identify the user. Then you copy the save from the usb stick. I had to do this once.
