Hey guys here are the (and losers) of the first ever GTP Formula 1 Awards:
Best Driver:
2005 was a season where new talent shined and the older generation fell back perhaps into retirement one day. It was really out of two drivers, (surprise surprise) but a total of 3 drivers where voted for.
In 3rd place with the total of 1 vote: Juan Pablo Montoya!
In 2nd place with the total of 6 votes: Kimi Raikkonen!
So in 1st place with a total of 9 votes: Fernando Alonso!!
Fastest Driver:
Now, anyone in F1 must be able to travel at over 200mph, but it takes someone special to make it look like they are doing that, all round the track! This award is for the driver, who quite simply is a blur.

Best Team:
A driver is only half the story, the team behind the driver has to perform at their maxinum, every race. This award is given to the team that have given their all for the sake of a measly world championship. Heres the results:
In 3rd place, with 1 vote: Red Bull Racing!!
In 2nd place, with a total of 5 votes: McLaren Mercedes!!
So, on the top step of the podium, in 1st with 10 votes, the World Champions: Renault!
Best Looking Car:
So, in a small moment during the season, an F1 car is traveling around 60mph and then you can truly take in the beutiful looks and curves of an Formula 1 car. This is the award for the car that has caused the most drool in an F1 season!

In joint 2nd with 2 votes each: The cars from Toyota and Red Bull Racing!!
So, in 1st and officially GTP's most sexy car, with 10 votes: The car from McLaren Mercedes!!
Best Race:
Right lets admit it, unless your a Micheal Schumacher fan, 2004 was a drag, 2005 blew our mind and great races were everywhere to be seen! This awards the country that has the best race of 2005!
In 3rd place with 1 vote: The race at Spa Francachomps in Belgium!
In 2nd place with 3 votes: The race at Monza in Italy!
And so, the greatest race of the 2005 season with 12 votes: The race at Suzuka in Japan!!!
Worst Race:
There can't be a perfect season, whe nthere is great races, there are races that quite simply do not match. This award is an alarm for the country that has held the worst race and to get their asses moving to make it better!
In 3rd place with a pair of votes: The race of Hungary!!
In 2nd place with 4 votes: The race of China!!!
So, the worst race of the entire 2005 season goes to, with 8 votes: The race of USA!!!
Villian Of The Year:
To every fairytale there has to be a bad guy, F1 is no different, this award is to show who GTP thinks deserves to be booted from the story.
