Less popular combination, this one. But it could have been meaner - and remember that the previous WRS organiser came up with the idea of a 9B race at Seattle. 3 laps, full tune Integra Type-R. No contacts with AI or wall. LMP opposition (GT-One, R390, 787B)...

Anyway, there was a clear split between the top three, using the S4, and the others, using the RS200...

6th flat-out - 1'29.951; Ford RS200 Rally Car (DS2, Division 2)
5th SimRaceDriver - 1'28.092; Ford RS200 Rally Car (N/A, No Division)
4th TheWizard (no space) - 1'26.059; Ford RS200 Rally Car (N/A, Division 2)

And the podium:
3rd bogitiman - 1'24.890; Lancia Delta S4 (DS2, No Division)
2nd StrokerAce - 1'23.254; Lancia Delta S4 (N/A, Division 3)
1st Small_Fryz - 1'22.280; Lancia Delta S4 (DS2, Division 1)

That's a niiiiiiiice time, Fryz. Drop a replay in when you get the chance, for some ghost-chasing fun :D

Hope you all enjoyed the 3 warm-ups and are in practice for official racing to recommence next Monday...

yeah i will drop in a replay when i get the chance,

BTW ran the RS200 (DS2) and i could mangage a 1:24.xxx with out too much difficuitly. A 1:23.xxx was there for the taking if i put the effort in.

For the S4, if i didnt get my DFP on thursday i would of kept tryin until i got a 1:21.xxx. i saw a 1:21.7xx (DS2) dirty. but practising my DFP took priority so my hotlappin with DS2 stoped. And ther was no way i could catch my DS2 time clean with the DFP, at least not until i get a week or so practise under my belt :p

thanks a lot famine for organizing these events, i really appreciate it

Nice run Dion, thought you would be all over this one. I was going to do this, but I didn't have any of the rally cars unlocked yet, except for the one that is unlocked from the start. So I started running all the evnts in Special Conditions, and never stopped! Only 1 race left and that tedious nightmare will be over with. 5 second penalties caused by the AI ramming into you gets old REALLY REALLY fast.👎 Boo on you PD.:grumpy:

The good news is that I'm up to 46% now. 4% more until the Jaguar XJR-9, my favorite LeMans race car of all time.:) Gotta get going on my WRS qualifier one of these days, sounds fun!

This race was fun, Famine 👍
Your challenges are really well chosen, it's a shame that we only had 6 competitors.

I am happy I won my 'Division' (the Ford RS200 Division, that is) and ended up only ~1 second away from the podium and the Lancia Delta S4 :sly: :D

Congratulations go without saying to Small_Fryz for his awesome time

One more thing: I am sorry I forgot to include the type of controller I used, Famine. It was the DS2, if you still want to edit the post and add this information...

One last thing: My name is TheWizard (no space) - sorry, I get picky about these things
I know I sign my posts with 'The Wizard', but that's a different story, and I would get too off topic... :D

EDIT: Here is my Replay.

The Wizard.

That race sure did create a bit of controversey didn't it! :scared:

Hey Famine-

I too enjoyed this race, as mentioned by TheWizard!
If interested, I used a DFP as my controller...sorry I missed that when I submitted my times! :(

Quick question though...what's the meaning of 'no division' next to my name exactly mean?

Thx-

I am no Famine (I am TheWizard (no space), remember? :D), but I can answer this question.

The reason he put 'No Division' next to a few of the racers is because either they just joined the WRS and therefore do not belong to any Division, yet, or because they forgot to include what Division they belong to, when they submitted the time.

The Wizard (with space, in this case ;)).
