Hi

I would love to get a GT2 or maybe gt1 weekly race series going but we of course need enough members to do so.

if you have the original copy of gt2 or maybe gt1 you can download EpsxE emulator from here www.xtech.co.nr which has everything to get started straight away.

so in that case we wont need to dig up our ps1's well be able to screenshot and record our gameplay and more.

the only diffrences would be no official ps1/2 joypads, but you can get adapters so u can use ps2 joypads on your pc and theres a few pc controllers that 'clone' the good old ps controllers too. and as for saving u can save via epsxe menu's and the save file goes on your hdd.

and its totally legal providing u have the retail copy of the game ;).

so come on guys what do you say?

I had a quick go, pretty fun. I'd like to race in an OLR series if you or someone else starts one. I have all the GTs so I could also race in GT1. I just got my computer (the one from my room) back today and its all fixed, once I can borrow my sister's mp3 player I can transfer some files onto it and I can put the emulator on it too. My computer's a little faster you see. Ill see if I can find a cheap joypad on ebay or in a local shop. Retro WRS or no retro WRS, im giving this a go!
 
hi again people, after a few months of absense i return.

maybe i can setup a little tutorial on how to make the ePSXe emulator work, i guess the GT2 game can also be run on your ps2s if yiou aint comfortable with using the pc/emulator, but keep in mind you can do so much more with emulator (screenshots, vids, etc)

Sounds like a good idea to set up a race series. There are already about 4 or 5 people that come to the GT2 forum that compete back and forth with spot races and challenges. Set up the rules and a race and you will have some one join it. Feel free to join in on my classics derby race right now over at the GT2 message board.
 
Sounds like a great idea, GT1 and 2 been sitting on the shelf gathering dust for a while now (probably years). I'll have to check if my piece of 🤬 pooter will run the emulator though?
 
Will it work on
A) A kind of slow Dell PC?
B) A PS2-edition GT1 disc?
Ive heard about these for ps and gamecube, thought they were fake. Please post about my questions and how to use it, I might be able to race again!
 
How would the rules be? and in GT2 they had this "Race Modification" thing that you could do to a stock car and turn it into a racing car. That would be very cool feature to be able to use for this. I think this will be a really great Idea, and I've been playin GT2 for a while now...at work too with my PSOne... ;)
 
I'd be very interested in hyping a little my interest in GT2 with some online competition. I saw that there is a dedicated thread in the GT2 forum but it has not been updated since half 2006 ...

anyone here interested in some GT2 racinig for 2007 ?
 
Damn thats ashame i only have GT3 and GT4 left in my collection wouldnt mind maybe a GT3 challenge tho maybe sometime
