Sorry if there is a thread already started on this, but I painted my Zonda R orange and now i'd like to return it to the factory bare carbon fiber. Is there anyway to do this?

I guess if worse comes to worse, I'll just buy a new one. I was just hoping you guys knew something i don't.

maybe use the restore ticket, Not sure if it works but you can try.

Good idea, i'll try that. i'm currently credit poor, so i'll have to grind out some seasonal events to get a new one. thanks for the heads-up though.

If the restore ticket option doesn't work you could always try using a Matte black paint. That may be as close as you'll get to Carbon.

Use the Spa B-spec seasonal to whip up some credits. $4 million in 30 minutes hands free.

No excuse to not have credits with that available.

I haven't spent much time on B-spec so my driver probably isn't at a high enough level to pull it off. So yes, there is an excuse.

I've done it with a 0 level Bob so that removes that excuse. ;)

Doing it with a 0 Bob does require you to babysit a bit, but still the reward is a $4 million deposit and Bob goes up to 23rd level just from that race.

To sum up the technique to avoid you having to dig it up, use a Mobil 1 NSX (others will work but the Mobil 1 is fastest), tune it to 600PP (around 525hp seems to work best), put on Sport Soft tires, enter the race but don't hit start. Wait for the water percentage to fall below 20% and then hit start.

The AI will start on race hard tires but will stop on lap 1 for intermediates, giving you the lead for free. Then the AI will stop again on lap 7 for race hards, but you will never stop so you cruise to the easy win.

Wow, that sure would make it easy. I used the premium Raybrig car tuned to 600pp. Then my driver just naturally takes first by the end. That's a good strategy for lower level Bobs though. I thought about going with sport tires, but starting on RIs and goin to RH at lap 7 worked so I didn't want to screw it up.

I'll have to look into that. Mine is like level... I don't remember, but he's above 5.

Using a restore ticket to change color is a horrible waste of them

You only have 5 and when theyre gone, theyre gone. So try to save them for an irreplaceable car

why dont you go to paint car then when on color selection screen go to the left under manufacture and select Pagani and there should be a paint chip for the Zonda R. Cause everytime you buy a car you get that paint chip which is under manufacture.

You don't get an paint chip from the Zonda R.

As I stated earlier, A restore ticket does not revert paint back. It only restore's chassis and engine back to 0 miles. It keeps all added components, paint and tunes.

I just got done with the B-spec seasonal spa event. I'm heading over to get my new Zonda in its beautiful bare carbon fiber loveliness. The funny part is, i probably won't even use it.

thanks for the heads up s2k2k3.
