Reverse track layout - Brake warning accuracy?

Most of my driver aid settings are off, but I still use TC and "BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE" etc warning settings, I find it helps with "consistency" :)

So for those who DO use it...is it just me or does the brake warning light not really work well on reverse track layout? This would be in SPORT races.
 
Yeah, using the suggested braking warning is a good way to get destroyed online. You really need to be learning how to use braking boards (50-100-150m) and picking out references trackside.

Pylons are probably the best for having some kind of reference without turning off all driving aids completely. Even those aren’t perfect on all tracks and the cones are pretty useless in general for road cars.
 
Depends on track. On nordschelife brake warning is always too early. On the other hand st. croix brake flash is almost right in time.
