Hi all,

I'm using a G27 + Playseats Evolution setup and I drive clutchless manual.

One thing I could never figure out was how to get into Reverse gear with the G27 shifter. I tried pressing all of the G27's buttons to no avail...

Without getting in Reverse, it sometimes impossible to get off the wall.
 
Not sure about G27 but with G25 you push down (in) the shifter, hold it in and place it in the 6th gear position, that is reverse. Or hold triangle (top button on the shifter unit).
 
Yup, it's same than it is in the G25. Push the gear lever down and shift to sixth slot.
 
What about the DFGT? I always have to press triangle and would rather shift down to reverse but it doesn't work?

You're stuck with the triangle button 👎
 
I hate to bring up a near month old topic; but would it have ****ing killed them to allow us to gear down to Reverse? As a Driving Force GT owner, you are really screwed if you make a mistake and hit a wall as there's no chance you're going to be able to recover without the majority of your tailing cars passing you.

The only solution is to map Reverse to the shifter; which sucks because I don't care much for the paddles and like the touring car style shifter on the GT.

Another patch fix hopefully.

Does suck... but then I could see shift down into reverse causing some awkward situations when power downhifting...
 
PD is going to forget about every other wheel put there when the new Thrustmaster T500 RS comes out.
Thankfully i have the G25 and not the DFGT so atleast i have a proper reverse gear, but i don't think we will ever get a patch for these wheels now.

I just map it to the stick - pushing forward, pull back is my handbrake 👍
Works really well after you get used to it, allows you to spin the wheel freely unlike holding the triangle down

This also allows you to drop down to first gear quickly, just shove it into reverse and then hit gas to pop back into 1st gear
