I was wondering if there is any way to change the rev limits on cars. When I balanced the engine out of the ARTA NSX, the limit was set at about 10k. It seems like a multiplier more than a predefined thing. Any help? I am using a CB4.
About drivetrains, is there a MR setup that will work more than 40% of the time? I want to build a mid engined Civic or something. Something super light. Maybe an S.S. Treuno?

Correct me if I am way off here, but wouldnt swapping out a transmission from an F1 car raise the Redline to around 16K Rpm? My Action Replay is at a friends house so I cant go check right now, but it might be worth a try. As far as I know there is not a defined multiplyer code a-la horsepower to change the redline.

As for an MR drivetrain that works, I use either a NSX or a 787B drivetrain, you could try either of those. Im fairly sure that the SS Trueno is a FR drivetrain car.

I made an MR civic once that had a 787B drivetrain, it worked OK.

i think i used the gt40 drivetrain for my MR mods, it worked for all the cars i tried it with... sprinter trueno and celica trd, i think thats all i have tried. tell me how it works for you

Other than engine balancing the only way to bring up the rpms is to completely change the engine. All of the MR drivetrains will work, it is however much easier to use the GT40 if I remember correctly. Also, if you are going to build super light build an Elise, unless of course you are a rice-aholic. Not to mention the Elise already has a MR drivetrain.

Youch! I wanted to make something like a couple of MR CRX builds I saw at carshows. They are almost stupidly fast. I like the idea of taking something that is relatively ****ty and making it go REALLY fast.
