Nintendo Wii notes...
I'm sick of people who continually knock Nintendo. Just because they aren't like Sony or Microsoft doesn't mean it's not its own role as a world player. People already knocked the Revolution when it was coming out, then not many may like the Wii. But if you ask me, f:censored: them. Now that it has a witty name, the Wii. You know, I still want to call this the Revolution sometimes. That's because this game system is sort of a combination of the light gun days and the average controller. Look at "Red Steel." That game (I don't care what you think) looks and feels impressive. Red Steel could have just been another "Dead to Rights," another "Grand Theft Auto," another
I must confesse. "Fanboy favorite" Legend of Zelda? If there is a Hall of Fame for video game characters, it would be a shame not to include Link and Zelda. This game is damn impressive, and being angered like this about what G4 says about certain games reminds me of why I don't watch G4 too much besides "Street Fury" (hey, it's a funny show. I like it). Thing is, The Legend of Zelda series spans a great number of units. Only ones I don't think have seen Zelda were Nintendo's very old computer system or the device I wanted which failed miserably... the Virtual Boy. Even on the DS, Zelda remains strong, keeps up classic old-school gaming, and doesn't have to be HALO or Splinter Cell just to be good. In fact, the DS is getting "Phantom Hourglass," I think it's called. It is a classic, old-school, authentic Zelda experience... sometimes you have to be old-school to succeed in modern times. You also have to be good IF you go old-school, though.
Super Mario Galaxy is beautiful. I never thought that this game would surpass Super Mario Sunshine in being a lovely game. I love nighttime, and this looks like a joy to play. Just have to know how to control the whole thing. The low gravity of space should mean exceptional jumping ability. And who doesn't love jumping around with Mario? This should be great fun for a game that's almost always never had a definite age demographic.
Kevin Pereira's Face Time with Reggie Fils-Aime (Nintendo of America head) brought up a VERY interesting update. There is a small extra controller for playing older Nintendo games. Now, I really think Nintendo is going to step up. I think they are sick of all the criticism and all the knocking and just thinking, "hey. You hated us for this. Now, we're going to make you regret it." That's even after this dumb ass thread about what the Revolution controller mockup would look like, which looked like a combination of all Nintendo console controllers. I think some great things can happen with Nintendo in their Wii campaign. They may prove to be innovators yet again. And I see great potential with the Nintendo Wii. This will be a chance to see what game developers will want to do to provide Wii gamers with a variety of game genres. The first-party developers will want to come up with millions (exaggeration) of ways to us the Wii to enjoy the absolute best experience. Think of an experience with another Mario Kart, maybe (call me crazy) a revival of "Mike Tyson's Punch Out" or "Super Punch Out," or anything like that. "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" surely has Wii capabilities as it will be released for both the GameCube and Wii.
Off-topic E3 info... Layla Kayleigh = 👍👍! Pretty cute British lady (I thought she was Asian at first). Has a pretty deep British accent, so it was slightly hard to understand what she was saying. But unlike some Americans who fringe over someone who doesn't sound like Elliot Sadler or Larry McReynolds, I had no trouble understanding.

"Heavenly Sword"
If the Prince of Persia had a girlfriend who can kick some ass and look good doing it, it would be Nuriko (or Noriko?). She is hot! But she's also the girl you don't want to mess with if you were programmed into the game. (HEAT INDEX: HOT)
"Super Smash Bros. Brawl"
Aside from Wario's atomic farting, this game really shocked the crap out of me. It looks like a mix of old-school Super Smash Bros. and some SNK vs. Capcom. Imagine Mario unleashing a special fire attack against some rivals. It could be his own brother Luigi, Pikachu, Link, Solid Snake, Wari... wait? How did Solid Snake get in? He's no Nintendo boy! Well guess what? SOLID SNAKE (the one and only) will be in the house for SSBB! So get your skills ready so you can beat up Snake with Jigglypuff!
